I am the author of the memoir, “Shitfaced: Musings of a Former Drunk.”
I recently received my master’s degree in Arts Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Within this program of study I particularly focused upon the intersection of entertainment and social justice in pop culture and television.
I am always interested in freelance opportunities. I have been a contributing writer for publications including Teen Vogue, The Guardian, Forbes.com, Vice.com, Refinery29, Advocate.com, The Huffington Post and UpWorthy.
I received a bachelor’s degree with a double-concentration in History and Ethnic Studies from Brown University.
I worked for a non-profit, the Doe Fund, in New York City during the year between Brown and Newhouse. At the Doe Fund, I did reentry work with men and women who were recently released from prison.
